It’s referred to as a hobby but it’s actually a Sport. The global radio control (R/C) sports market size was valued at approximately USD 2.38 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach around USD 3.54 billion by 2037, reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.3%.

The industry is growing but the places to enjoy them are not. With increase in wildlife preservations, conservationist and the cost of land and competition for sports venues it’s become increasingly more difficult for RC enthusiast to find locations that they can enjoy it without harassment from land and wildlife conservationist.
